Science slot for Robotics in Granada

El Parque de las Ciencias (Science Park) in Granada has grown into new installations and there is a special spot for research in the region. Specifically, this month was our turn (University of Malaga) to present research in Robotics, both by the ISA and TE departments. We have deployed several robots of different sizes and applications, from surgery ones to robo-toys. Also, we have provided information on our works and robotics in general. And guess whose robotics timeline is on the walls for the whole event?

If you are planning a trip to Granada and have no plans but the Alhambra, give the PC (and tapas!) a chance; you'll like it.

ICRA'10: here we go!

As probably you all well know, ICRA will be held in Anchorage (USA) in May 3 - 8, 2010. The workshop day seems particularly interesting this year, also.

Yours truly will be opening Sessions TuA6, Track 6 -Human Robot Interaction for Assistive Technology- at 8:30, with a PPT, a croissant and a expresso. I'll be punctual because ... Yay!, my paper got into the 4 candidates for the Best Paper Award! Let's cross fingers!

My presentation is "Efficiency based modulation for wheelchair driving collaborative control" and I promise a lot of videos to early birds to compensate for the fast breakfast :D
